Removing rock guards

I want to remove the rock guards from my 1994 Excella 34'. I can see that they swing out and then rivets can be removed near the propane tanks. The rivet heads are quite a bit larger than most other rivets on the AS. When I remove them, will the replacement rivets be larger as well, or are they a more standard rivet with just a larger head for travel / support of the rock guards. First time working with rivets.

I guess these are actually the "crash" guards, not the rock guards. Already removed those upper guards that cover the windows. Trying to permanently remove the crash guards along the bottom front of each side of the AS.

Pop rivets come in many different sizes, shapes, and materials.
There are three main measurements that classify their size
Head diameter
Shaft or barrel diameter
Grip length (how thick the material they will grab and hold)
You can get rivets with the same size barrel and a smaller head.
Most likely what is in there now are 5/32” or 3/16” barrels now.
