Flange Seal/ Ball Seal

I have looked everywhere for a new seal for my Thetford Bravura 31083. I am talking closet flange seal. I cannot find one. I bought a generic one and thought it might work. Toilet leaks while traveling down road if there is anything in tank. Also smells badly while parked. So I figured I didn’t get by with the cheap one. I thought about replacing the closet flange as its old. The trailer is a 83 although it has been replaced sometimes back. I figured I would ask you folks if you knew where I could get that particular seal or if another one would work just as well? Thanks for you help

I don't see why you are having trouble with any new RV seal working. Is the toilet sitting flush or is it rocking?

If a RV seal doesn't work, I would give a home store a look and try one of the rubber/silicone "no leak" styles.

I pulled my old toilet 2 or 3 times for one reason or another. I only replaced the seal the first time. I used a generic RV seal. Never had s problem.

I agree with you. I have messed with this toilet seal for several years off and on trying to get it to seal good. All these years I used a wax ring on the old starlight toilet and then decided I would by a high rise and use a rubber seal instead due to wax rings melting when trailer sets. I think I will pull the closet flange and put a wax ring in it and go back the other way. not any rubber seal will work. It has to have the right id -od to seal properly. Thanks for your reply.
