Exceeds your quota Message?? Please advice

I tried to up load some pictures for a post and received this message.

Exceeds your quota by 309.0 KB. Click here to view your attachments

Could someone explain if it size of the pictures or is it am I taking up too much space on the forum?

What do I need to do?

You've probably reached your allotted amount for attachments. If that's the case, you have three choices. First, you can become a supporting member, and get unlimited attachments. Second, you can join a photo site like Flickr or Photobucket, and link the photos from there to your posts. Last, you can not post any more photos (not recommended).

Go to your user Control Panel...scroll down to near the bottom of the column on the left...Under the "Misceilaneous" heading click on "Account Upgrades" and you're there...
