We just bought a new (old) 1960 Tradewind. We want to have the brakes checked and probably worked on. We don't yet know any other Airstream owners in the area so we don't know who to ask for recommendations. Where do folks in NW Missouri go for good, reliable Airstream mechanical help?
Here the best trailer guy has a lot full of horse trailers. My trailer is a '76 and it has brakes, bearings, and seals available about anywhere that sells trailer parts and brakes. My wheel bearings and seals came from the first auto parts store I came to on my way to town. Maybe your trailer has something special, mine doesn't.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
Welcome! I live in Olathe and used Olathe Ford in Gardner KS. It's a long drive from you so you might want to keep searching but it's a thought. Keep us posted on your progress.
