Paint stovetop with high temp paint?

Looosy's stovetop is rusty and in need of help. My question is: does high temp paint off-gas toxic fumes when heated? My trailer is pretty small and I use the burner/inverted clay pot method for heating the place.

Any thoughts?

Do a forums search for powder coat. Several folks have removed the top and had it powdercoated or - if it's stainless, polished out and buffed to shine.

We painted our with hi temp silver. As long as it's open when the burner is on it does not get hot on ours.

If I may...heating with the stove is a really bad idea, very dangerous. Is there something wrong with your furnace?

I put BBQ paint on the burner bases. Gloss black, of course, and have had no problems. The spray can says it is good to 750 degrees.

hi all. Indeed, there is a problem with the wall furnace, hence the stove heating method.
