We drove down the west side of the Tetons and stayed at the Teton Valley Resort. We were in a new area that was essentially a gravel parking lot, but the park was well maintained and the staff friendly. We chose the west side because of some warnings of the road leaving the east side for towing. We drove over the Teton pass to check things out and then went back the next day for a full up park drive.

Frazzled? Tired and a touch sunburnt perhaps, but judging from the great pictures you two are having a grand trip!

This log structure was used as a trading post, Overland Stage station, Pony Express station and finally as a storage building before it was donated by the landowner to the city of Gothenburg and restored by the local American Legion post. It is now a museum and gift shop in a park in downtown Gothenburg.



You know all those wind farms? This is what one blade looks like going down the road.


Settling in for two nights at Dr. Edmund Babler Memorial State Park outside St. Louis and a visit with Missy's cousin Anne and her husband Bob.


For the last notable stop of our trip we visited the wife of a college friend who lives in Kevil, KY. We parked in her side yard and lived quite comfortably from a 15A outlet on the side of the house.


Almost 7 weeks on the road. Over 7000 miles covered. New states acquired for the map on the door.
