We will be traveling needing a 50 amp RV site in Grand Prairie, Tx. April 2, through April 4. I found one on the internet called Traders Village. Has anyone been there? It appears to be the only game in town!
The hookups are water and electric (30 amp). (You can get 50 amps if you know how to utilize the 20/30 amp outlets) Paved roads, paved sites, and space between sites unlike commercial parks. This park was built on Lake Joe Pool by the US Army Corps of Engineers and is operated by the City of Grand Prairie.
The Loyd Park looks great. We don't use pools, etc. Just need a place to park while visiting with many family members. We love being away from the city. Thanks again. Myrna
Heard from several people the last few months (in the weeks we've spent at SANDY LAKE RV PARK) that they enjoyed Trader's Village. We haven't been there, and, since we find that access to all areas north of Interstate 30 throughout Dallas and Fort Worth from S-L RV PARK is unmatched, we're unlikely to use it (Dallas natives). However, were we here with family to enjoy Six Flags over Texas, etc, we'd likely try it.
