MaxxAir Deluxe Fan trim piece (garnish)

I’d like to replace my current fans/vents with the MaxxAir Deluxe model. Only concern I have is that the interior trim piece is black or white, depending on the model,Click image for larger version

ID:	380582 and I don’t think I’ll like the look of it against the aluminum ceiling. Has anyone installed these and were able to use the existing gray fantastic fan trim pieces instead of the ones that come with the MaxxAir? I guess a could paint them but would prefer not to. Thx.

Hi, which deluxe did you end up installing (white or smoke)? I also want to replace the current fantastic fan with the Maxxfan Deluxe 7000K (white lid) but my concern is I heard the mounting holes are not the same as the FF? If you had to drill new holes were you able to drill them over a rib? Thanks!
