Curved or flat garnish?

When getting a Fantastic Fan for my 1972 Safari should I get the curved or flat garnish? Thanks.

I posted this same question years ago and got no response . So I went ahead and tried the flat version as that was what had come with the fan . I immediately found that the flat version was not going to work out . Got the curved version and it was perfect . Even better , the curved one has the proper depth , so no trimming needed. I am still in need of a couple curved trim pieces for my Argosy so if anyone has any extras lying around , send a message .

I'll second the motion on curved. I recently installed a FanTastic with the straight garnish and have a gap, which I'll likely live with.

I recently replaced a Fantastic with a Maxxfan Deluxe. Never even took the curved trim down. Works perfectly.

Awesome! Thanks. I like the maxxair because it's easier to take the screen out to clean it with the 4 clips vs 8 screws, I have to clean mine every couple weeks. 8 screws would get old, plus probably wear out the holes holding them in. The deluxe would be nice but I'd have clearance issues on the back of the vents so had to get the regular rain sensor ones.
