Campground near Drumheller, Alberta

Looking for a campground near Drumheller, Alberta, Canada in early August, 2020. Will be taking my grandson to the dinosaur museum there. Will leave Hungry Horse, MT on August, 9. We have a 30' International Serenity, and would prefer full hookups. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Dinosaur Trail RV Resort

838 N. Dinosaur Trail,Drumheller, Alberta. We stayed there 3 nights. Nice RV resort. Quiet place. Just down the road from the dinosaur museum. We were on the Canadian Rockies Caravan.

We stayed here a few August's ago and it was good, full hookups. 11km West of Drumheller on North Dinosaur Trail. www.htr.ca then you can find the Drumheller rv park, I wasn't finding it on Google maps for some reason.

If you have a chance while in the area, I'd highly recommend Dinosaur Provincial Park. It's about 1 hr 50 mins SE of Drumheller, but has the most amazing terrain. Some of the sites have power, no full hookups but there is a sani dump on site.

We had a lot of aggresive wasps and many mosquitoes when there near the end of August, so be prepared! Enjoy, it really is an amazing place!

I’m a fan of Hoodoos RV park as well, about 15 min down the road from Drum, but nicely nestled out of the way. Good luck, you guys will love Drumheller no matter where you end up!
