How are the upholstery buttons installed?

How do I install the upholstery buttons on the back of the dinette on my Classic 30?

You thread the button and plug it thru the location you want it. Once through, there are support tracers you can buy. Check on line if you haven't already under upholstery supplies.
Hope this helped.

M.hony, I assume you are referring to the back and not the back cushion.

We redid both dinette's back upolstry in ours. The buttons on the back side of our 93' Excella are actually a special nail that was upolstered and help hold the back panel on to the dinette. They are nailed into wood runners running horizontally. Of course we had to disassembe the whole dinette to get the backs off.

We replaced our "buttons" with some fancy upholstery tacks. Served the same function. But they were coordinated with the cabinet handles in our 93'er.

I got it. The button has a nail off the back and I just hammered it in.
