Angry Carpet on Wall 2009

I have white or lite beige carpet on the lower haft of the walls in my trailer. It has started to fray, it seems like you can rub your hands on it and it will start to fray. How to stop it from doing this and how to remove the frayed ends of the carpet? The carpet seems to be glue on over the sheet metal walls.

There was a thread about that a while back, and seems like it's Ozite, and probably a synthetic. If it is, a hot knife, or a soldering iron should stop the fraying edge.

I don't have the ends fraying, it fraying in the center or where we have rub it with our bobys while sleeping or where we rub it in every day active.

Then maybe a hair trimmer, or a very small mower?

I don't know what to say. Good luck.
