show me bucking bar for C channel

Hi Everyone, I am getting kinda bummed all this time fabricating parts then destroy them trying to buck rivets is a big waste of time
I am having problems bucking the rivets in the c channel The bars I have don't fit so I have had to use a little piece of tungsten but that flips the bus end every time because I can't hold it
what are you using?? Thanks, John

A very common bucking bar would the "foot bar". It works fine on most C and U channels unless the "legs" of the channel are longer than the foot of the bar. something like this

It takes two people as well. One to rivet and one to buck.

Or the wife drops an 1inch and a half piece of common flat stock into the channel, sets a 4lb maul against the outside of the interior channel, holds it with her foot while you sit on a bucket, sip beer and set rivets on the outside. Be carefull when working under windows, they can see!!!!
