Hi all. I just got done doing a small floor repair in my '85 Excella. I had to remove an inside panel and some trim rivets to remove the panel. Although not a "large" job I thought I would purchase an air rivet gun to make the job a bit easier plus to have it for later use and maybe more extensive jobs. Anyhow, the other day when installing the panel back on I couldn't get the gun to work. Am I missing something here, looks childishly simple but it didn't do anything to pull the rivies in. I finished the job but had to use my hand rivet gun. I still want to keep the tool but only if I can get it to work. Otherwise I'll just return it to HF.
So, am I missing something here ??????? Is it a plug and play tool ????? Or is there some set-up procedure that I just didn't grasp ???
Oh, and in case you're gonna ask, yes I did hook up the air line and turn it on. It sounded good too.
Thanks all, lookin towards the next job.
