Need to replace foldout table

Replacing the foldout table in our 1999 Excella. Is there a place to get a gently used one or other ideas of a table to put in its place?

You might contact Andy at Inland RV for a part like this.

A good cabinetmaker could build what you really want.

A&P Vintage Trailer Works near Dallas Ft Worth may heave some ideas as they restore vintage trailers.

I'm assuming both that your 28 is same layout as ours, and you are working on the flip-out table on the dinette side, not the small one by the door, yes? Part of the solution might depend on if the wall cabinet and sliding/hinge mechanism is still in place. IMHO, that would be the tough part to come up with. All the rest of the pieces can probably be purchased at Rockler or similar. Do you have a cabinetmaker friend?

I just replaced the dinette table in my 30 ft flying cloud with a custom built sinker cypress table. It's really an inexpensive way to add character to the airstream. I hope the attached picture made its way into this post.

I am also debating what and how to replace our flip out table. I think what we will land up doing is similar to what SJCJR did, looks real nice. We have decided that we don't need the flip out feature of the table. We are perfectly happen with the one section without the flip portion. We will use either imitation granite, corian or wood. We are looking for the best option. Good luck Badkat with your decision. Let us see what you decide.

Beautiful table. You've inspired me. Did you purchase the table leg or did it come with your Airstream?

I had the table built for me. It was really simple. I finished the table with a coat of sealer and several coats of satin polyurethane. I also had a a cypress sofa table built. It fits perfectly between the sofa and window ledge. I will attach photo.

Super pics and ideas. We may just get a new top made..all the rest is in great shape. A pretty top might look awesome. Our problem is we are full-timers so have to find a cabinet maker somewhere. We stop in KY in the fall so maybe then. Love the sofa table idea.
