Dinette table material/strength

I'm currently building a dinette setup for the front of my 75 Argosy. I'm building it from scratch but following the same basic design that I have seen in many other trailers with two benches and a table between, that swings down from the wall to form a bed. I have finished the benches and am trying to decide what material to use for the table top. I have a leftover piece of 3/4" sanded plywood from Home Depot which I was thinking to use. It's fairly good quality stuff, 9 ply and flat, with a smooth sanded surface. I want to make the table as thick as it needs to be without getting too clunky and overbuilt. I also may do a hardwood veneer over the table top to give it a nice finished look so I want to be sure the table isn't going to sag or bending too much when it's in the bed configuration which could make the veneer bubble up. Do you think 3/4 inch 9 ply is thick enough or do I need to use something thicker? What are other folks' dinette tables made from? Any advice would be very helpful. The span between the benches 31" Thanks

It should be fine, but I’d consider veneering and finishing both sides to prevent warping. 9-ply should be really stiff and strong. Our 2007 International CCD has similar plywood on the dinette table (and everything else)…
