Allen key blocked by privacy curtain rail

I am almost certain this is just a bad design, but thought I would ask to see if there something I’m missing. The translucent plastic panels in my 2019 sport FB are loose and actually fell out during a recent tow.

It looks like the Allen key head that holds the grub screw in is blocked by the rail for the privacy curtain to the front bedroom. How irritating! I guess I will need to either cut back part of the rail, or remove it,Take the Allen screw, and then put it back inClick image for larger version

It's not a very convenient is it? I believe if that were mine I would consider trimming the corner of the rail for the privacy curtain.

You might want to try loc-tite on the screws as they do tend to back out with the vibrations of road travel.

They make an Allen tool called bondhus that should give you the flexibility to get that tight.

doughpat......Your unit should still be under warrantee. I would do nothing on it and call your dealer or Airstream Corp to fix the problem.
