2010 Internation Signature

Hi Folks,
We currently own a 2019 FBQ 23' and we are considering trading for a 2010 International 28' as we would like a little more space for the family.

I searched on the Forum to see if any 28' International trailers were for sale and I found none in the 2010 year model.

My question to everyone is the dealer is willing to take the 2013 in for a straight swap for the 2010.
Seeing that 2010 is larger and has more features and when compared to what we paid for the 2019, when we bought it I think this eems like a fair deal.

This would be our 3rd Airstream as we started out way back in 2014 with an older 25 ' Safari and I have a good deal of thechnical experitise. That's to say I know a fair amount about Airstream trailers and know what to look for mechanically.

Anyone have an opinion.

Regards,
Keith Stamper

Thanks to all for your replies and advice. We were advised to contact Andy Thompson at Can-Am RV.
Actually this is where we have done all our business going back to 2014 when we bought the Safari.
To make a long story short, We decided to trade the 2019 for the larger International and basically put our 2019 23' FBQ on consignment with Ca-Am and it is sold.
We are buying the 2010 International as we want the larger trailer for use with our son and his family plus, I found the 23' very cramped and especially did not like the dinette which was uncomfortable.
When we take delivery of the 2010 International it will be at Ca-Am in the Spring and the guys will do the set up on our F-150.
If we really do have problems with the truck, we will make whatever adjustments are necessary to improve it's ability to tow the heavier trailer.
My son can install Air Bags and if necessary change the rear axle as he is an Auto Technician.
Again, thank you all for the advice.
Regards,
Keith Stamper

I can't fault your approach. Seems like you are on a good path and doing everything right.
