Progressive Industries - e10 Code

Hi - I have a Progressive Industries internal 50a surge protector. Today, it tripped. I noticed it had error codes, but FOOLISHLY, did not write them down. After unplugged power and plugging back in, we were good to go. Note - our power has been on and off all morning, so I'm not surprised that there would have been low voltage conditions.

I think I might have seen an e10 error code prior to reset, which would indicate a surge....and that the device is no longer effective and needs to be replaced. It no longer shows e10.

QUESTION - if e10 code occurs, does anyone know if that will permanently show on the display OR can it be cleared?

Thanks

Looks like it:

"In the event of a power surge and the surge protector circuit is damaged within the EMS, L-N or L-G, the digital display error code will read E-10. This indicates the EMS needs to be serviced."

I have the external PI 50amp EMS, I guess I should download the error code table.

When my external one did that the code was permanent. I contacted them and informed them I was powered from my home and the power was good. After some back and forth we talked on the phone and took the device apart and found water damage. They replaced it under warranty.

Thanks. This is exactly what I was trying to find out. I appreciate it.

I have the 30 amp internal and I believe the error codes are the same for the 50.

Incase you would like the error codes

E1 - Reverse Polarity
E2 - Open Ground
E3 - Line 1 High Voltage
E4 - Line 1 Low Voltage
E5 - Line 2 High Voltage
E6 - Line 2 Low Voltage
E7 - Line Frequency High
E8 - Line frequency Low
E9 - Data Link Down
E10 Replace Surge

Progessive Dynamics replaced our 30 EMS nit for an E10 fault.

Squairstream - thanks for sharing the codes on the surge protector. I copied and pasted it to a Word doc, enlarged it, bolded it and printed it out. It will be the last page of my "Unhitching Airstream" SOP. Thank you!
