Hasco 25amp shunt "clicking"

We have a long term loan of a 2007 Safari 20 SE with the factory installed solar system. First time out in it for any length of time and over the last day I've noticed a rather loud clicking sound that comes and goes. I identified the source as the Hasco 25amp Shunt (see attached picture). As it clicks, the "charge" light comes on and off. It does this repeatedly for a few minutes, then stops, then a few minutes later starts again. It happens both when we are plugged into shore power and not. So far, it's only happened during the day, but it's loud enough to wake us up. :/

Has anyone had this experience and/or any advice on how to start troubleshooting? I can't seem to find documentation of the component online or in the pile of manuals that came with the trailer.

Any direction totally appreciated!
