Cord re-wind option?

Hi All, I have seen an auto re-wind option for the power cord on some old brochures...is this available for my 89 Excella?
Currently I coil up my shore power cord and stuff it in the bumper storage compartment, I always thought it would be very convenient to have the auto re-coil device.

Thanx, Bill

Bill,
I doubt the original is still available but there are options out there. Several of the higher end MoHo manufacturers use them. Try Camping World or run a Google search for Automatic Cord Reels. They use them quite a bit on heavy utility trucks.

Where was it mounted when ordered as an option?
Inside under the bed?
Did the cord still feed out the same spot in the rear?

Anyone know or have pix?

The AS literature I saw was pretty generic...

Not so sure it was an option..

Bill-

I am not sure the electrical cord retracted on smaller trailers.. It would take a very different cord than our current 30A style (thick as small snake..) and different mounting plus beefy roller... I think our trailers did come with retracting hose reel and flat hose for water, but ours is long gone...

We do the coil-up in the rear trick, and it gets more challenging the colder it gets...
