They sold for $949 all year with free shipping. You're being duped. This is why most dealers aren't interested in stocking BB. There is nothing special about them at ~$9.5 per AH when they all use the same cells. Competing with your dealers is a death sentence when your dealers know there are better values using the same lithium cells.
Same cells with external serviceable BMS, more amp hours packed in a smaller group 24 case is taking over. Being offered by many Airstream dealers already.

Blemished batteries
I picked up a "blemished" battery yesterday for $799. I now have 400Ah with 500w of solar and consider this part of the upgrade process done.
