Does your trailer have 30 amp or 50 amp service?
If it has 30 amp, you should have a transfer switch to prevent the second inlet from being energized when connected to power. That transfer switch has been known to fail in the past. Try unplugging from whichever inlet (front or side) you are connected to, and plug it in to the other inlet, and see if it starts working.
