Streamin' In Pennsylvania
Hello all,
Just dropping by to make the introductions.
Got a 2006 30' Classic with slide and limited package in June and have been loving it ever since. It replaces an SOB that we had for less than a year. I have always wanted an Airstream and since my wife loves the camping scene, it was easy to sell her on one.
I always remember visiting my Mom's side of the family in North Carolina and seeing the silver trailers on I95 and always thought they were really neat looking. I lump thei classic deising with that of the Model A Ford and the Douglas DC-3...Timeless designs all.
We got the SOB in hopes of grandchildren, but our son-in-law is deploying to Iraq tomorrow, so that sort of put the kybosh on the grandchildren. So we are taking our daughter with us to keep her busy and her mind off her husband going into harm's way. He is a door gunner in a Blackhawk helicopter.
Upcoming trips include a long Labor Day weekend at the Jersey Shore Airstream Haven, a week long stay at Normandy Fams in Massachusetts in September, and a week long stay at Virginia Highland Haven Airstream Park in October.
