Good day y'all.

I've been lurking for a while, in anticipation of finding an acceptable Argosy sooner or later. That day was yesterday, a '77 Argosy 24 in very good condition. I didn't want to join the forum until I felt "qualified."

The missus and I are not new to trailering, just new to Argosy. The current trailer is a '64 Terry 16' which has been lovingly stripped and polished, along with various interior panel replacements, alterations, cushions, paint etc. etc. In other words, we've done about all we can do and it's time for a new project... one with a bathroom.

The Argosy pulled like a dream, for the 70 or so miles I drug it yesterday. The tow rig is a 2000 Cadillac Escalade. It just turned 97k on the odo so it has many trailering miles left.

The area is Portland (Oregon), where the "season" is just getting started.

We look forward to a long and happy relationship with our new home away from home, as well with the forum.

Now... back to lurking (until I need to tap the brain trust anyway).
