New in North Texas

Hello Everyone! I recently purchased a 2015 International Signature that we call Graciebell (after my grandmother who was fun, protective, and where I wanted be more than anything).

I am having a hard time thinking about winterizing and not having Gracie available to camp as often as I want on the nice weekends. Any north Texans out there or others who have the dichotomous temperatures that we have here? You know, one day it is 70 degrees and then it can be freezing soon after. Do you winterize and de-winterize throughout the winter?

Much appreciation.

I live along the Gulf Coast, not in North Texas, but last year I winterized FIVE times because I went on multiple winter camping trips and un-winterized for each one. It's not terribly difficult to winterize or un-winterize, and if you go on several winter trips you'll get good at it very quickly.

Hi Graciebell, welcome from Central Kentucky. Congratulations on your new AS.

Like Protagonist says, you get good after a few times of winterizing/summarizing. It's better than having to pay a lot of money for a broken pipe. You might opt for inside storage but it's not cheap.
