New Airstream owner

A couple weeks ago we picked up our new International Signature 25FB twin from the dealer in Wentzville, Mo. We live in Lincoln, Nebraska. We only spent one night in it (27 degrees and 6 inches of snow on the ground, but we were cozy). We're not new to camping, we sold our 2014 Lance model 1995 which we enjoyed very much. The Airstream however, is awesome! No slide out to worry about and yet it feels substantially larger than our Lance which had a slide out and yet the Airstream is only 2 feet longer. We travel to California nearly every year in January. We plan to get very acquainted with our Airstream Next month as we make our annual trip. I look forward to sharing information through this site with other Airstream fans. Gordon & Debbie

Welcome to the forums gordonopp! I think you'll have a great time in your 25FBT. The 25 is the smallest of the widebody Airstreams and some would say the best . We find the twin layout really opens up the space and the extra dining area window of the FB seals the deal.

Twin

We also think the front twin beds really make the coach feel bigger. We initially thought we would get the queen bed, but it's more difficult to walk around the queen in the 25'. The extra window in the living area is wonderful and we knew we wanted that.

Welcome to the boards!

We are also new owners of a front-bed twin and love the layout, though we opted for the 27' for the extra closet space. Enjoy your trip next month and let us know how it goes.

Visit and post often.

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the Airstream owners community. Congratulations on your new Airstream. I'm happy that you have had a pleasant orientation in the thing.

I really like Lincoln. When living in Minnesota and traveling to Denver we camped in Lincoln many times as it is halfway. Camp a Way. Nice enough for us. And now we have relatives living in Lincoln and travel there to visit. Very nice city in my view.

Pick a good weather opening on your "snowbird" travels to the southwest. Take the southern route which I'm sure you will.

David
