I just bought a 76 argosy 28'. This thing has 20,000 organial miles. I know this because it belonged to my uncle then my cousion's which who i bought it from. About 5yrs ago it got a complete make over, insde and out, everything. I paid 4,000 for it and was wondering if it was a good deal or not for being 30yrs old. Never had one but it is cool. Thanks

Welcome, and congrats on your new-to-you Argosy. From your description, it sounds like you got a good deal. Do you have any pictures you could share with us?

hi john and welcome to the forums...

how about some pictures, its easy to upload em!

good deal?

reads like a GREAT DEAL!

a family treasure 2b sure...

but,

these things are a lot like home exercise equipment..

wasted money unless USED!

so go camping, travel somewhere and tell us about it!

otherwise it might just as well be...

a coal fired, steam driven, fat shakin'...

exercycle...

cheers

Wow!

Even though my family is mostly of Anglo-Saxon descent we'd all call this: this

"The rabbi's uncle's deal".

Holy smokes, it's a great deal! Why do I always find the stinkin' wrecks that someone wants $18K for? (I think it's that I'm destined to admire vintage, but own "new".)
