My sentiments exactly.Ours rides ok and unless I plan a very long trip I won't be doing them too soon.
Yours looks good - put up some more photos! Or tell me where there are more..
Have great holidays.

I drove down to the garage today and snapped a couple of photos of the table leaf clips that hold it off the floor. The leaf fits behind the table. It's a rather nuiscance to get the leaf out and back in. You can see how much of the doorway is blocked by the table. This was not one of Airstream's best designs.

So I just moved the table over to the street side and leaned it up against the wall. I positioned it so it would clear the flip up counter extension. I think the street side is a better place for a flip up table. It could still slide forward and back to adjust leg room on the gaucho, and the leaf could still store behind the table. I would have to fabricate another shelf. But the shelf is handy for my favorite beverage

Thanks for the pics, my 65 doesn't have any hooks. I have tried putting the leaf in behind table, but it doesn't fit?!

Here are mine..... These brackets, or a faxsimile should be readily available. You would just need to pop rivet in place.

those clips go at the bottom near the floor and the table leaf sits in them.

I have the same laminate on mine. It does make sense to have it on that side.

Wow, I didn't realize there were floor plans that were just the opposite! Our 66 has the mirror floor plan, and the table is on the street side, and kitchen is on the curb side. I'm sure glad I lucked into that with ours, it seems much more usable!

Anyone covered or replaced their laminate on their table? I think I'm going to replace all of it, and the counter tops as well. I don't like the fake wood top look, and think it would look better if it matched everything else. Now I just have to find some vintage looking laminate that I like. Not much available at the big box retailers...

I would think making a new folding table would be easier than replacing the laminate top on the existing table. The leaf would be a little harder. The sliding wood blocks underneath and other hardware (folding leg) could be reused. I like ALANSDs idea of a narrower table. Counter tops are made from a good grade of plywood and then laminated. You're right, "vintage" looking laminates are harder to find.
