my project
Picked up the 74 argosy 28' two weeks ago. Nothing has been changed. I was only going to replace the rotted floor. Then I found "airforums.com". So I now have the shell lifted. Tomorrow I start in the new floor. I decided as long as I had to gut the inside, I am going to change the layout.
I am in awe of the wealth of info and knowledge on this forum. Because of this, I have not needed to post any questions yet.
Great looking Argosy AS. I, too, have a '78, 27 ft and rehabed it last year (it is always a project). Painted mine two shades of blue so I can call it the "blue flying cloud". Look at my profile jjustice for pics.

moparjohn, I am going to keep the fridge but plan to put stainless on the doors. If that happens I'll let you know. First I need to get the floor done and shell back on before cold weather hits.
jjustice, I'm new to the forum. Am I doing something wrong? I went to look at your pic's. I saw 8 pic's. Looks nice. But I thought I might see the blue paint.

Added more pics.
Found some frayed wires.
Removed all the wet and mouse nest pink insulation.
Was pleased to find only surface rust on the frame.
Replaced with 1.5" foam cut to fit, with Great stuff to fill all the voids.
Sealed the underside and edges of the ply before I installed.
