Floor repair/replacement

I found an excellent way to repair a floor that was damaged by water.
Use two part epoxy resin (West Marine is a good source) After mixing it , thin it with the appropriate thinner about 50% .
Pour it onto the damaged area; spread and work it into the wood with a cheap paint brush.
This treatment will make the floor impervious to any further deterioration. It will be stronger than new.
If I was installing a completely new floor I would treat the whole floor top, bottom, edges. Future water damage could never occur.

I was just going to post to the forum to request info ion epoxy repairs. I have heard of it done before, and I have a '61 24' TradeWind that will need some subfloor lovin'. I bet 80% of the floor is good, the rear 4' and possibly front 2-4' will need replaced. I am also betting the solid sections can be shored up even better with penetrating epoxy.

My question is best brand/supplier? Also, interested to know how much to buy...don't want too much, but I do want to be able to treat the entire subfloor.

I completely replaced the plywood in my '64 Bambi II. I don't think I will need to do that with this one, and penetrating epoxy will likely be the way I get it done.

good source of two part epoxy resin would be
West Marine, Jamestown Distributors.
Lowes or Home Depot most likely would have some also.

I would estimate that not more than a quart would do the job.
when it's cut with reducer it goes a long way.
