new buyer

new to this forum and a new shopper for AS....we've owned Class C's but have decided that a trailer is better suited to how we like to travel...and it seems AS is the best out there...I haven't even gone to a dealer yet..we live in Orange County, California....I have some rookie questions: is there a sort of "standard" you can expect to get off MSRP?, since we're use to Class C and having an onboard generator what do most of you do? (purchase a separate generator?).......thanks for any input

hi biker and welcome to the forums!

yes, many here buy a small genset for most issues...

and parallel 2 or go larger if wanting to run the air conditioner on gen power....

pricing?

use the advanced search feature and search 'msrp' and limit the search to 'buyer guidelines' only...

then do some other creative searching, the price/discount issue is pretty well covered.

of course these discounts are buyer specific and model specific and related to supply/demand issues too.

cheers

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

We were able to get 22% off a brand new 2005 Safari 25FB in 2006.

Good luck in your search.
