figuring out VIN?

We just bought an old Safari. The guy was selling his mother's trailer so didn't know everything about it.

The title says it's a 64, but I looked at the Airstream VIN id section and think it's a 65

the # is JO225149

now the airstream info starts at 66 so it probably doesn't really apply--acording to them my trailer's an Overlander, but it is definitely a safari--any thoughts on this?

thanks for the welcome, Richard.

Yes, that's our new toy--we paid a good bit less for it--the seller was a doll.

I didn't post the link because I'm terrified that you all will see terrible flaws in it!

However my husband sold Airstreams for many years and checked it out--he didn't see anything major wrong with it--of course many things will turn up , I'm sure.

Had it been closer I would have bought it myself! I posted the link to make sure you had seen it.
Dont worry Airstreams and flaws are a team!

You're going to have a great time with that trailer. 22 is a great size and improving the flaws is part of the fun.

Cheers
