Silver Trailer Supply Scam
I ordered 2 items for my 2004 Airstream Land Yacht last February 2nd, paid for the items, they never were sent. Followed up with a phone call, the rep told me that my items would be sent soon, they never were. And now they have disconnected their customer service phone line.
Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere for your Airstream parts needs.

Yep, only reason I got my money back was because I paid with PayPal.

If you paid with credit card, you might have buyer protection, give them a call.

A couple of weeks ago I was camping in the area so I took a ride to see if I could find this outfit. They are way down, maybe 25 to 30 miles, on a very beautiful peninsula southwest of the Seattle-Tacoma area. Actually not far from Olympia as the crow flies but not easy to get to. It is a home with a several car garage behind it. The street is more driveway than street. Anyway I talked to the next door neighbor and he said the place is full of Airstream parts but he hadn't seen the gal for a couple of months. He thought she was Ukrainian and didn't know if she went home or what. She has a son who comes by on occasion but he hadn't talked to him for some time so he really doesn't know the story. The lots are acres rather than city lots and very isolated. You would never find it without looking very hard. The street sign is hand made. The place looks maintained and certainly not abandoned.
Anyway that is what I found. She may be back and in business tomorrow or may never return. It's anybody's guess.

My debit card was immediately charged and nothing arrived after 30 days, no response email and no possible way to phone. Got my money back by filing a fraud report with my credit union and changed to a new card.
Don’t do business with them !!!

First, I know there are many threads on this company but found this to be the most recent and didn't want to necro-bump an old post.
I appreciate the feedback on this company I've read here. I want a flagpole holder (don't know if sandlapper is still doing these but don't see anything since about 2015 so I don't want to bug him). They have a 5 position holder advertised on their site for a decent price. I tried to purchase one with the intent of using PayPal so I had protection and didn't compromise a CC number. Their online checkout system doesn't work so I sent a message to them through their contact link. I received an e-mail from a person named Dmitri telling me they have the part in stock but their credit card processing "is down" and they can only process orders paid with a check. He told me if I mailed them a check they would send the part.
I asked if they could send a PayPal invoice (just this morning so no response yet, but I can update if they send one). I'm not sure how they're credit card processing is down and PayPal isn't a viable option unless the credit card companies no longer conduct business with them and they don't want the customer to have any protection. That is speculation of course, but there's no chance I'm simply dropping a check in the mail hoping a part arrives one day.
Thank you all for the consistent messaging on this company. I believe it has saved me from throwing money out the window.

I was wondering if anyone has seen items listed by mashasor on Ebay. It seems they are new with 12 reviews. He is selling items certain items that Silver Trailer Supply and Airstream Supply are or were selling. Looks like they may have started another company. Anyone dealt with mashasor yet on Ebay.

Silver Trailer Supply Scam
There is an ebay listing that shows up in google for a flag pole holder from highskyglobal that closes Thursday. The seller lists their location as Salt Lake City. That seller has over 1,000 feedbacks but none since August. And ebay shows their “store” as closed.
Mashasor has a feedback score of 12 and is located in Longbranch WA which is the same city listed on the Silver Trailer Supply website (they used to be located in SLC).
Based on that and my tendency to be suspicious of many things found on the internet it would seem logical they are the same entity.

Interesting to see that mashasor already has 1 negative feedback out of 12, in a short period of time. That username is currently showing 50 items listed. At least any purchases are protected via eBay/Paypal.
https://www.ebay.com/usr/mashasor
Update: I just noted the comment above about not accepting PayPal and requesting checks. Highly suspicious indeed!

Because I rode by this place and now I see a new eBay account as Mashasor my curiosity got the best of me. I ordered a replacement handle for a Keeler lock. I figured $20 wasn't too much of a risk. I placed the order on 12/26 and received it 12/29. I can't speak for the future, just letting you know my experience.

The Saga Goes On
I received and e-mail from the new rebranded company, I guess I am still on the mailing list.
https://highskyrvparts.com/index.php?route=common/home
Here is an excerpt from the e-mail:
"The Journey of Rebranding"
"If you've been with us for a long time, you would know we are a company that is continuously looking at ways we can improve our product line and services. We didn't start with much - just a lot of enthusiasm and a small corner of our garage about 10 years ago. As we've grown, one phrase has stuck with us through the test of time: "let's be better today than we were yesterday."
From Silver Trailer to Airstream Supply, and now with High Sky RV Parts, we've taken your feedback and asked ourselves, "how can we meet the needs of our customers and also provide them with a quality shopping experience? How can we improve our content so that our customers find exactly what they're looking for?"
This Journey has led us to roll out a new and improved version of our site, now called High Sky RV Parts. Here, we are working everyday to improve content not only as pure content, but as an experience for you. From ease of search to quality of part descriptions, we hope that you would find a much more pleasant shopping experience with High Sky RV Parts.
The new site has one more feature - it is a one-stop shop for all your needs, whether you're looking for Airstream parts or general RV parts, you can find everything here."
"Visit High Sky RV Parts"
"Airstreamers are a Global Family
We also wanted to let you know that we now have 2 locations:
• Our U.S. location is still in Longbranch, WA
• Our European location is in Lucerne, Switzerland
• Without a doubt, all of our parts are still manufactured and shipped from the U.S.
We Airstreamers have always been global travelers. From the Wally Byam Club's journeys to Mexico and Nicaragua to the infamous Capetown to Cairo adventure and beyond, we are united across the world by our sense of wanderlust. And in the words of the man himself:
"Adventure is where you find it, any place, every place, except at home in the rocking chair" - Wally Byam"

It looks like dimitri is still the owner. I had a very unpleasant experience with him.

Yes, the e-mail was from Dmitri. Both times I ordered from him I had issues also.
Both times it was for something I could not find anywhere else.
Things were resolved, but it was a hassel. Don't think I would try him again.

Hinges for Vintage Airstream from HighSkyRv
Based on the numerous comments I was seeing on the forums, I was hesitant about ordering from High Sky RV Parts. I looked for new main door hinge for my 1954 Safari and could not find them anywhere (VTS no longer sells them). I took the leap after about a year of looking and ordered them. They showed up in about 10 days and were as expected. So I don’t know if this company has turned a corner, but I wanted to include this positive experience here because they do sell some reproduction parts for vintage Airstreams that are not available anywhere else.
Cheers.

That is very good to hear and glad that you posted it.
Unfortunately the comments have been all over the board In both positive and negative. It's nice to know they were able to make good on your part and get it to you. Those doors are really hard to find.

Thank you for posting this, that is really good to hear and I'm glad you got the parts you needed.
I had a couple of bad experiences but if they have turned the corner that is great.
Both times I used them, it was also for items that I could not find anywhere else, I hope they continue on the right path for the good of everyone.
Again, thank you for sharing the good news

I got the parts I ordered also, a cabinet latch, the bathroom trim strip, and some keeper washers for the 1/4 turn fasteners for the rock guard.
They said it would be about 3 weeks for one of the parts, and 3 weeks later they shipped.
They're pretty close to here, so shipping was only a day and a half once they shipped.
