Lisa, Congratulations on your purchase!
I would recommend that you have the new purchase transported to you. Many people feel that you can hook up and go… There are many things to consider before taking your maiden voyage. The biggest being the tires, bearings, even registration. The lights need to work; break away switch has to be functional in case of an accident.
A professional service gives you the comfort of knowing that your new purchase will be delivered to you as you bought it, at a reasonable cost.
They should have spare tires to put on if the tires on it are in poor condition, They will be able to deal with bearing issues if any arise. The service will have an ‘on board’ battery to use while transporting the unit, temporary lighting to use if the units lights are not functional. Transporter plates if you can not get the unit plated in time for the move. Most of all they need to be insured for the move, and have the special licenses required to do the move.
Good luck with the new purchase and have many years of enjoyment.
