On the door of our 2006 Safari SE there is no window, just a solid black fiberglass or plastic insert. It appears to be factory installed, with all the normal rubber gasket material around it. I was wondering if anyone knows if that was original equipment or maybe a privacy option. When I look at other AS it appears they have a window that matches the others in the trailer.
Just curious

I have the same on my Safari LS 23. To me it looks like the dark window was covered on the inside with a non-see thru film.

My wife says it's a privacy window. Other windows have blinds but because that's on the door you can't easily cover it and people could just walk up and look in. At the time of my post we had not taken the trailer out yet (newbies). Since then we found it to be very beneficial to have it darkened.

On my build sheet it is called "opaque door window".
