Question Exterior Trim Strip Fail

The exterior trim strip on our 2006 Safari is falling out of the slot along the side of the trailer. What adhesive should we use to secure it back in place? Any ideas?

Double sided automotive trim tape. You must remove the old tape off of the moulding before replacing the trim. Remove the trim piece completely and intall the tape, and reinstall the moulding in the original location.

I used this...It worked very well. 👍
The molding and the insert must be VERY clean.
