Major cell improvements at TerraPort in JC

Pulled in for service last night, June 20, 2020 and tested my internet connection over the AT&T Airstream connect (external antenna on the roof) and my iPad with Verizon sitting at the dinette. As some of you know cell service, especially AT&T was hit or miss in JS.

No more. Sit down, hold on to your seat...

AT&T 51.5Mbps down/30.4Mbps Up.
Verizon 67.0Mbps down/24.1Mbps Up.

Holy smokes Batman, that is an incredible jump from the past when you were lucky to see 5Mbps.

We noticed AT&T was much better last year, but Verizon was still pretty sucky.

Do you have two different SIMs in your unit, one for each carrier?

That is good news. They must have put up some new towers. I know Airstream had been complaining about the poor signal there.
