Dash Air Conditioner Problems

A good time of year to be working on this since we are in Texas and it is too hot to mess with it in the summer. But in the summer for some time now, the A/C cools things down okay until awhile later when it sounds like one of the doors in the duct system closes and it seems hot outside air is mixing with the cool output and it no longer keeps us cool. Hence we do most of our summer driving with the generator running and the coach air to keep us cool. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas of where to look for the control doors, relays, etc.? Are they accessible behind the dash? Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and take it to a A/C specialist?

Think I found the trouble. Removed the panel below the passenger side of the dash and found two vacuum control modules. When the A/C is in the normal position, the top one pulls in and air comes out. If I remove the vacuum tube and put it back on there is not enough oomph to reopen the door and help from a screwdriver allows it to work again. I will replace the module and see if it was the culprit. When it is in the MAX air position the module does not pull in at all.

Yea I had that problem on my 2002 Landyacht, its the vacume hoses, mine deteriated after 3 years. I replaced them with rubber hoses, never had that problem again
