New to the MoHo

This is my first dip into the MoHo side of Airstream. We have a 1953 Flying Cloud that we rebuilt. Now I am going to try my hand on a MoHo. We found this 1985 345 in Indy and had to bring it home. I got a little lucky in that everything works. It runs and drives great. It needs a lot of elbow grease to clean it up but besides that it's in pretty good shape. Click image for larger version

Hi FlysOnCloud,
Great to have you here in the Moho group.

I'm a n00bie here and have gained SO much from this amazing group of folks.

I have a 1981 280 and am excited to finally take it out on my first trip in it this weekend, to the Classic Moho gathering in Pennsylvania.

You're lucky, your newly acquired Airstream motorhome looks great. I've always wanted a 345 and hope to get one in the next few years.

Anyway, I just wanted to welcome you to this group.

Hey Fly,

Congratulations, and welcome aboard. Looks like a beauty!

Keep your seat belt fastened; there's a whole lot more to a Classic Moho than a vintage trailer. You're gonna love it! I'm still trying to understand how mine works, and hoping to get lots of questions answered at the "gathering" this weekend. Just take it one piece at a time. The people on this forum are amazingly knowledgable, and always ready to help.

Welcome

Great looking rig!
I would imagine if you've done a trailer you have 3/4 the knowledge you already need
Tap is right, the forum has been a godsend to me
I've mentioned on other boards that just about the time I'm feed up with the machine... I take it on a small trip and fall in love again
Going down the highway at 65mph, looking through that big windshield, *sigh*
It's a little bit of heaven!
