Hey,
Years ago, I tried all those different plugs. I never found any real change. I think those plugs are more for a race application. You know, where a 10th of a second means winning or losing a race. I don't know, it's ones own preference I guess. I may try those gapless ones again. I think Bosch made them. Maybe with today's fuels, they may be the way to go.
I put headers on my engine. Make sure if you do, or have headers, you get spark plug wires that are made for headers. I tried those boots that slip over the wires to protect them from heat. The one that was closet to the header burnt. I only put on 180 miles on the coach. I would have burnt a wire off, had we been able to go further.
Anyway, we re waiting on bearings for the engine. Everything else is ready to go. Total cost of rebuild should be about 1800.00 . Not to bad. Not going to be fun laying on my 60 year old back in 20 degree weather. But the dude abides. DJ
