Here is one picture of us coming out of turn 10 at the Putnam Park Road Course west of Indianapolis. What a blast.
Also a couple as we were getting the paint job finished, and hooked up to the Porsche 912E to head home 3 years ago.
Here is one shot of our "Toad" in it's more normal environment. (Notice the tow bar mount on the nose)
And BTW It is great to see the wonderful Airstream Motorhomes!
The 345 is painted. Our clear coat was bad on the upper areas of the coach. Since the aluminum was a little oxidized, we chose to paint rather than new clear coat. The silver is Mercedes iridium silver metallic. The dark gray is a little darker and a little browner than original. Then a coat of clear over all. We love it!
1987 345 it has 55000 miles started about 3 months ago on bringing it back to life. It's all polished and working on interior now. New tires, airbags, flushed and changed all fluids. Runs great!
Thats a good question!
My thought was that we could turn this into a "Reference Thread" for anyone looking for Airstream Classic Motorhome pics. There are huge differences between 310's, 345's and 370's, but they are siblings in my mind
My gut feeling is that you should start a Picture thread over in the Argosy Section, as someone way back when decided they were different enough to need a section apart!
But what do I know!
No such thing as less Ho in a MoHo...ours is cosmetically challenged, but so am I...we both earned it. ...m

LOVE THOSE PHOTOS. I miss my AS 280, but I still have my 78 911sc. It's celebrating 17 years in my garage.
