'86 345 Door lock

Tried to send earlier, but did not seem to work.

Managed to find a relatively warm day last week (snow again today) and finished the installation of a Bargman L300. Difference in exterior lock size required a custom cover plate (0.090 alum).

Very Nice repair! Where did you get the Bargman L300?

Is the cover plate held in place by the lock or did you attach it somehow?

Held in place by lock, with assistance of water proofing sealing tape between surfaces.

Looks great! Those original locks are out of sight if you can even find one.

Very well done. I had to do a very similar thing to my dad's '72 Argosy trailer last year. The replacement lock was going to be almost $500 from A/S. I did have to use Olympic rivets on the plate, however, to make it strong enough.
