Argosy MH wiring diagram

Does anybody have a 1975 (or any year, nothing will have changed) Argosy 20 lighting wiring diagram they could scan and send me? I need to work out where best to attach brake light circuit to reversing light circuit. (I need to seperate the normally joined indicator/brake circuit as that is not allowed in the UK. Someone suggested that there should be a junction box where all seperate circuits go into before brake and indicator circuits are fused. Where is that located?

thx

I don't know about any special junction that you speak of. Here's an easy way. Tap into front turn signals for the separated rear signals. Tap into the brake light switch on the pedal for separated brke light.

The easiest way is to run a wire from the brake switch to the rear light cluster, and modifiy the lights there. Use the revers light and fit amber bulbs for indicators.

Wiebe,

Here is a link to a wiring diagram for a 74 Argosy motorhome. It's been traced in various colors to make it easier to read. However there have been modifications done to the circuits so you'll have to have to take that into account while looking at it. I got this from a friend in California who spent a lot of time upgrading and updating his 74 20' Argosy.

http://campkahler.com/files/74-argosy-diagram.pdf

You might find it beneficial to buy the 1974 Chevy Light Duty Truck Service Manual St 330-74 and since yours is a 1975 there is a small supplement that you would want to find for the 1975 models.

Hope this helps.

Brad

I really liked the color coding. I've started doing the same thing to the wiring diagram for our 84 310 motorhome.

Fuse Block - Harness 76 Argosy Motorhome

OK, I've looked everywhere for the fuse block and cannot find it. Can you please give me an idea where to look. I've looked in every opening I can find or think of to no avail?

Thanks

On our 1974 20' Argosy motorhome the GM fuse block is to the left of the driver up against the firewall under the dash.

The Airstream fuse block is shown in the attached photo. Just under the ignition switch to the right of the steering column.
