Microwave installation 16 ft Bambi

My 2014 Bambi did not come with microwave. Many pictures show microwave mounted over the stove and there are pre-drilled holes for mounting. Questions: 1) what microwave is recommended and 2) is there a special bracket or are there attachment bolt holes On my way! microwave?
Thanks

Hi
Kinda funny I'm answering your question and were about 20 kilometers apart ! Congrats on your new purchase , and yes the microwave oven is mounted to a bracket on the G. E. Microwave then bolted to the four holes in the upper right cabinet and then plugged in inside cabinet .I took a couple of pictures the right bracket wraps around the side of microwave and also is a longer bracket compare to left bracket.the model number of microwave is PEM31DF1BB.

Scamp,
I now have all the parts listed in the parts book to install the microwave! They came with no instructions or pictures nor were any offered when I contacted Airstream. Parts were over$200 but support related to installation non-existent. Not impressed. I pick up the microwave on Monday on my way south so I am trying to anticipate any installation issues. Your previous pictures give me good info on heavy black brackets. Does your installation use the two lighter aluminum brackets?

Appreciate you help.

Hi David
Sorry took a bit to get back to you as I just got back from a long holiday ,I'm going to double check but I don't see the light coloured aluminum brackets used on my microwave install. They could be for universal microwave install a different brand or model or for older airstreams.

For sure the light coloured brackets are not used on my 2015 sport just the dark ( black ) brackets are used.
