Hitch Ball Height
Hello, I have a 2007 19' Safari and I was wondering what my hitch ball height should be. My tow vehicle is 2012 x5 diesel.
Thank You!

Coupler height is 19.5"
Ball height should be an inch higher.

Measure your coupler height as it may vary due to axle condition and tire size.

According to the manual for a 2007 19' Safari, the unloaded hitch height is 17.25". This measurement is given on the specifications sheet I-1 in the owners manual. So, the loaded the hitch will be slightly lower.
The same spec sheet say your trailer's dry hitch weight is 480 lbs. I doubt fully loaded trailer tongue will weigh 600 lbs.
Based on this, my guess is that the top of hitch ball should be around 17.75" and it should settle back to level the trailer when tongue weight is set on the ball (assuming you have a 3/4 ton diesel tow vehicle).
But, since your trailer is a single axle, axle loading will not be affected significantly if the trailer is not level. Therefore it is not so important that it is level as if it were dual axle. Keeping the tongue weight correctly proportionate to the gross trailer weight is more important with your specific trailer.

30 Bunk Height
We are picking up our 30" Bunk next month. I want to set up the hitch here and at least have that part done. 1 1/2drive to the dealer. What height should the top of ball be for our trailer? I have air suspension so the truck should level it pretty well. I assume all 30 FCs are the same.
Thanks

Our ball is at 17-3/4 inches. But you really need to measure your coupler height as AW suggested. Reference prior conversation. The hitch shank should have holes every 1-1/4 inches. A couple above and below your expected position is a good idea for adjustment to achieve a level coach.
Good luck. Pat

This is a link to the owners manual for your trailer. It says the hitch coupler height is 17.75" (see page 4-4)

My best guess is about 18.75" for the unloaded hitch ball height. Though, I have no experience with air suspension, so I have no advice on that setup, except to follow the instructions in the tow vehicle's owners manual.

That'll change a bit as your trailer ages. Our torsion axles will slowly sag, lowering the trailer and hitch height very, very gradually. When they're too old, you replace the axles, and suddenly you find yourself with a much higher trailer ... and a higher hitch. Not a terrible job to replace axles, by the way. Neither rocket science nor major surgery.
