We have no problem turning it on or off. Just the first time we used it took some figuring out.

For our 2021 Bambi 16RB with a Dometic thermostat, the Honeywell horizontal version worked much better to cover up the holes (https://www.supplyhouse.com/Honeywel...tal-Thermostat).

So we just got our 16’ 2021 Bambi a couple months ago. We’re heading out on a short trip in a couple days. Looks like we’ll be having some low temps in the evening. This prompted me to review the owner’s manual for operation. I appreciate the input from everyone as there is nothing in the manual. The Dometic manual depicts a Power Switch (Fig 1 and Fig 2 on page 24.). So, my question is, Is there a power on/off switch on the furnace itself? Or, is the slide function on the thermostat the Power Switch?

I know the tankless water heater has an external power switch and I’m confused if the furnace has one as well!

Thanks in advance for replies!

From what I remember on the original one there is the slider for temp and then a small lever for power on the right side

I just fired up the furnace this 40 degree morning. Just opened up the Lp tank then slid the lever on top of thermostat and the furnace kicked on immediately!

( There is not an external power switch to activate. This in contrast to what is depicted in the Dometic manual.)

All is good!
