Alumapalooza question

Hi all! I am going to Alumapalooza for the first time and I have a stupid power question. The website says they provide 3 Amp power for the sole purpose of keeping everyone's batteries charged. They make it clear it is not for running air-conditioning or fridge (obvi) but I am wondering since we will be using a 15V adapter, does that mean that it will power our 110 outlets enough to use a lamp which draws less that .5 amps? I will have propane for fridge and stove but would love to at least have a lamp to read with. Any other advice on Alumapalooza for a first timer is welcome.

Also, any recommendations for 30Amp surge protector? Thanks!!!!

You can operate a lamp, charge phones, charge laptops, etc. You can also use a fan. Large draw items like a hair dryer or coffee maker not so. Take a look at the item and it should list the number of watts. Divide that by 110 to get an idea of the draw. A good rule is anything over 300 watts is not a good idea.
