2019/2020 Executive Meeting, J. Humphreys
A recording of the 2019/2020 WBAC Executive Meeting has been posted on YouTube. It is lengthy but at about 38:45 Justin Humphreys gives an update on what is/has been happening at Airstream regarding the new building and sales in general. I found it interesting. Here is where it can be found:

One thing I found interesting is, while demand for extremely high for all sizes of trailers, it's the shorter trailers that are the "hot" ones. And he mentioned the twofootitis syndrome which will mean there may be a lot of Bambi's on the used market next year!
Does he say anything about Airstream's QC problems? [IMO]
My 2020 has been phenomenal. I’ve basically taken it apart and put it back together and have found the fit and finish to be better than any previous production years I’ve worked on.
Only a small (palm sized) pile of trash was in the unit (this includes holding tank shrouds)
I am very satisfied with the quality of work coming out of the new factory.
From The Ambassador factory tour I can tell you things are different at the new factory. No longer is Airstream building trailers in dimly lit, cramped/shared work spaces. Stuff is not piled at stations waiting to be installed. The new lines are logically laid out to build the trailers of today. Each station has a QC check before it is released to the next station. An IPad based system follows the trailer through production showing who sign off on the previous QC check = accountability. Also this system can track reoccurring problems and address the issue with additional training if needed, so that problems don’t hide for months on end. They can be addressed daily. The combination of Better equipment, Better inspection measures, better training, larger work area, better laid out work stations should yield a higher quality product.
