I just added to the list a new 'Streamer our new dog, Lizzy. She is a mini pinscher terrier mix. We got her from a rescue organization. She was just hours from euthanization. The animal shelter is in a high home foreclosure area and they are over whelmed with animals. We've had her just a few days and she is a keeper for sure.

Cant wait to meet Lizzy! I kinda think we are going to leave our dog at doggy daycare since this is our first rally and would be her first trip too. Might be too much for everyone. She is not well trained yet. I would much rather spend my time meeting everyone than dealing with a dog that might want to be barking at everyone.. We are excited to go!

We're bringing three "not well trained dogs" with us!
We used to take our dogs to doggy daycare but it got more expensive for their stay than it was for our camping!
Neil and Lynn, congrats on the new addition to your family. She is adorable. Just watch where she is before stepping somewhere. As you know, I speak from experience. Hope she gets along with Daisy. Ginny

Don't you dare leave your dog in 'day care'! And waddyya mean 'too much for everyone'? See the list. Half the people bring their dogs and some cats. You only have to watch your dog at Pot Luck time. It was one of the "guest dogs" that ate an entre at a recent rally. The money spent on boarding could be spent on a training crate. We got one for Lizzy as she isn't all the way trained like the rescue people thought. She likes the crate. We leave the 'door' to it open when she doesn't have to be restrained. Now she goes into it on her own for naps in the daytime.

Ok ok.. Lets see how she does by April. She is currently going through some 8 month old stage LOL.. We just dont want to be remembered at our first rally "oh.. thats right, you guys are the ones with that unruly lab!"

She's leash trained, well almost and purrs like a 454.
So far she plays with dogs quite well.
